Chatroom/Forum Profile Information

There is no way to save your profile information from the chat rooms between sessions (and it is unlikely that digichat will ever provide this possibility).

However, you can load your chat profile into your forum profile and use that. Changes made in the forum profile will be saved, and will be used the next time you go to the chatrooms. Changes you make in the chatrooms will not be saved. Simply go to your profile page, and enter the information that you want to be displayed in your profile in the chatrooms, under the entries starting with "Chat". A couple of other fields are loaded into your chat profile automatically (your email address - unless you have selected to not display your email on the forums, and website/url). Your user name on the forums becomes your nickname in chat.

You are given the option for selecting an icon to use in the chat rooms, but you need to enter the actual icon ID code, there is not yet a way to do this any other way. The numbers can be found in the table below. Under each icon is its icon ID code. Pick an icon, note its number, and then enter it in the "Chat Icon" field in your Forum Profile. Note that your Chat Profile is not visible to anyone else in the forums, but is visible (by default) in the chatrooms. If you don't want it visible in chat, then check the Chat Block Profile box.

Also, your Buddy List in the chatrooms is loaded from your Friends list in the forum. So be sure to update that also.
